Loft calls this an everyday shirt, and the label backs it up: 55 percent linen, 45 percent cotton, with nothing synthetic hiding in the blend. That earns an A. The linen keeps it cool and gives it that lived-in, slightly rumpled hand, while the cotton softens the crispness and makes it easy to wash and wear on repeat. At 28.67 dollars this is the rare case where the cheap option is also the honest one. Most shirts at this price lean on polyester to cut costs and fake a smooth finish. Loft did not, and the oversized cut leaves room for the fabric to drape instead of cling.
